When Level 1 Arcade Bar opens a second location (Level 2, perhaps?) in Mesa, it will be in good company. What Now Phoenix recently covered the expansion of BRI’s new taproom and arcade, also opening in downtown Mesa.

Two days ago, the bar announced their expansion. Level 1 hopes to open by January of next year and is expanding into a two-story building with more than twice as much space (6,000 square feet) and more beer. All that extra space means a little more room to dance. That definitely sounds like leveling up.

Level 1 has over 100 rotating games in its arsenal, as well as a craft cocktails, bites, and music from the last few decades. Even those under 21 can enjoy the classic arcade games and pinball machines, given they are accompanied by a 21+ guardian and head out by 7PM. The Gilbert original is open late night, for all your gaming and cocktail needs.

We were unable to reach co-owner TJ Tillman at the time of publication, so you’ll want to follow the bar’s social media for continued updates on the Mesa location.
