Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, the go-karting and arcade facility named after famous race car driver Mario Andretti, has plans for a second location in the Valley. The 96,000-square foot facility will be built on 12 acres next to Topgolf in Glendale, near 99th and Glendale Avenues

The multi-level facility will house an indoor electric karting track, state-of-the-art arcade, two-level laser tag arena, duckpin bowling, plus a restaurant and bar, according to the Business Journal. The $40 million project is expected to begin construction in 2023 for what could be an early 2024 opening.

The company tells Business Journal that Glendale was chosen as the site of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games’ second Arizona location because of the West Valley’s “explosive growth,” which includes multiple entertainment options, resorts, and the State Farm Stadium. This news arrives on the heels of a previous announcement from Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, which will be opening its first Arizona location in Chandler.

Last summer, the company purchased around 10.2 acres on the southwest corner of Cooper Road and the Loop 202 Freeway for $4.88 million. Construction is expected to begin on the Chandler location in November of this year. For more information, visit andrettikarting.com.
