
Restaurant eyes vacant space at Buckhead’s The Mansion on Peachtree
Del Frisco’s grille is “close to a deal to open its first Atlanta location” in Buckhead, Amy Wenk with the Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) first reported.
The restaurant is in lease negotiations for the 10,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Craft, located directly in front of the 42-story luxury tower. Craft, owned by celebrity chef Tom Colicchio, shuttered in December, 2010.
The Dallas-based restaurant company known for its sister steakhouse, Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, could sign a deal soon, according to the ABC’s report.
The Johnson Studio will most likely design the steakhouse’s Bukchead location. The Atlanta-based design firm is responsible for other Del Frisco’s Grill locations including the one in New York City.
