According to recent public records, a growing chain is soon building up in town.

HiDiLao will begin building up a significant 7400 SF development in Austin at 11824 Rock Rose Drive. Construction estimates project a $2,500,000 cost, outlining a construction timeframe spanning almost all of 2025.

What Now Austin briefly reached operator Lin Peng to find out additional information on the establishment.

“We are just planning right now,” he said to What Now Austin. “Maybe we’ll open at the end of 2025.”

The hot pot chain has 13 locations in the United States but, as of now, only one in Texas, located in Frisco.

“The brand Haidilao was founded in 1994. With over 20 years of development, Haidilao International Holding Ltd. has become a world-renowned catering enterprise,” the official website states.

“By the end of June 30, 2023, Haidilao has opened 1360 chain restaurants in China. Over the years, Haidilao has withstood the challenges of the market as well as customers, and has successfully forged a quality hot pot brand which has earned a reputation for itself. Haidilao combines kinds of characteristics of hot pot in many places of China.”
