According to a recently submitted permit application, Martinez-based concept Del Cielo Brewing plans to begin brewing in Livermore.

The filing lists the address as 4771 Arroyo Vista, the current home of Shadow Puppet Brewing — near establishments such as Cinco Taco Bar, IHOP, and Panera Bread — though it’s unclear whether Del Cielo is moving into the spot or just collaborating with Shadow Puppet.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Luis Castro, Del Cielo’s co-owner, to inquire about his plans, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Del Cielo, the business offers a brief introduction on its website: “Del Cielo Brewing Co is a Latino-owned family brewery and taproom located in Downtown Martinez.”

“Founded by Luis and Cielomar in 2018, Del Cielo is built on a love for craft beer, one another, and their community,” the statement continues.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so follow Del Cielo Brewing on Facebook for updates.
