yogli mogli opening new alpharetta location ~ what now, atlanta?

FroYo By The Ounce. New Locations By The Busload.

Yogli Mogli, a premium self serve yogurt store, has signed their latest lease at 4305 State Bridge road, Suite 104, in Alpharetta.

Taking space in the Alpharetta Common Shopping Center, Yogli Mogli will open near Honda Carland Service Center and Publix Super Market in September 2010.

Yogli Mogli is a premium frozen yogurt store that offers a variety of nutritional yogurt flavors in a self serve environment and an array of toppings from fruits to nuts. Yogli Mogli meets the National Yogurt Association’s criteria for live and active culture and serves kosher-dairy certified yogurt.

What’s their unique selling point? No sizes! Unlike all of the other (and when we say “all of the other,” we are referring to the yogurt store take over of every available corner) yogurt options in Atlanta, guests serve themselves and pay 39 cents per ounce, regardless of flavor choice or toppings.

Yogli Mogli is a franchise and the first location was opened in Abernathy Square at 6595 Roswell road here in Atlanta. Yogli Mogli’s other new locations include one in Alpharetta at 5250 Windward Pkwy Ste #113, Suwanee at 320 Town Center Ave Ste #6 and Emory Village (story here) at 1403 Oxford road.

Have you been to Yogli Mogli? How does it compare to neighborhood favorites like The Yogurt Tap in Decatur, Yoforia in Morningside or Yogurberry at Terminus in Buckhead? Maybe you have a different favorite?

  • Yogli Mogli is soooo good… many more options in yogurt and toppings than most others. I think it’s better than the rest.

1st of all, Yogli Mogli is a total knock off (RIP OFF) of Yogurtland. Check out the above article.
2nd of all, I personally think all those self serve places are overrated and melt way (and I really mean WAY) too fast. Always melting before I reach my car to take off.

Also, let’s say I only have $4 to spend on a yogurt at yogli mogli or menchies. I often accidentally put too much and it comes out to more like $5 or $6 and I’m SOL. I prefer the places you know how much you’re paying.
I’m more of a traditional person, so I like being served.

Self serve places like yogli mogli, menchies, and yogurt tap remind me too much of a buffet. Meh.

  • OK!! Yogli mogli is da bomb!! its wayy better than menchies! And of what jenny K says is soo not true! I could come home and the amazing fro yo wouldn’t of melted at all!!

  • Yoforia is way better and they also let you pay by the ounce.

Frankly, there aren’t any yogurt shop that don’t pay by the ounce are there?

Yogli mogli raised their prices by more than 25%
