An unstoppable food juggernaut has set its sights on Newtown Square. Wonder, the hottest dining concept currently on the culinary scene, is opening a location in the neighborhood this spring.

The celebrated food hall is bringing made-to-order cuisine to 3741 West Chester Pike. While a precise opening date is not yet available, Wonder’s website states that the eatery will be making its Newtown Square debut this May.

Wonder first began feeding hungry foodies in 2018, but 2025 is poised to be a year of significant growth for the food hall, particularly in the Philadelphia area. The chain is developing several storefronts across the region.

Wonder sets itself apart by allowing customers to order from multiple concepts on one tab. All the dishes are made-to-order in-house. The concept has partnered with a range of acclaimed chefs including Bobby Flay and José Andrés to recreate their iconic cuisines.

Wonder’s chief growth and marketing officer Daniel Shlossman explains: “We have coined this term ‘fast fine,’ where we can get fine dining-type food but do it without having a set of chefs back there.”
