A Korean bakery is making its way to Germantown. Snowa, which translates to “with snow” in Korean, will debut at 9155 Poplar Ave Suite 16 in the fall of 2024. Owner Miji Kang confirmed the news with What Now Memphis.

Snowa will specialize in a diverse range of Korean treats. The bakery’s signature offering is bingsu, or Korean shaved iced, described as the “crown jewel of Korean desserts.” Additionally, Snowa will serve fresh cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and traditional Korean dishes like kimbap (seaweed rice rolls) and tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes).

But Snowa is more than just a bakery; it’s a celebration of Kang’s Korean heritage. Her passion for creating sweet treats has driven her to share the delicate yet rich flavors of Korean cuisine with the residents of Germantown.
