A Nampa, Idaho-born ice cream franchise is expanding to Memphis.

Locals Rebecca and Jeff Schneider are bringing Stella’s Ice Cream to 2197 Central Ave in Cooper-Young, Rebecca told What Now Memphis. The chain announced the news in a social media update:

“Congratulation to our newest franchisee that will be opening soon in MEMPHIS, TN,” reads the post. “We are excited to bring our 6X Blue Ribbon Award Winning ice cream all across the United States.”

Stella’s is celebrated for its creamy, scratch-made ice cream, offering flavors that range from classics like cake batter and mint chip to inventive options such as huckleberry and brownie sundae. The menu also includes baked goods, coffee, and soda.

Since launching Stella’s in 2018, founders Brittney and Chad Hartley have grown the business to eight locations across Idaho and one in Texas, with several more in development.

The Schneiders are currently finalizing design plans and securing permits and will announce an opening date soon.
