Chef couple: Kaity and Devin Keopraphay launched Tiger & Wife during the pandemic in 2020. The Asian American bakehouse and eatery has been serving the Longmont community delicious baked goods and brunch since.

The kitchen that produces everything for Tiger & Wife is based out of Longmont, which is why delivery is only available in Longmont at the moment. If you live outside of Longmont, but still want to taste one of their naturally leavened bagels, you might want to place an order for pick-up.

Kaity Keopraphay studied in The Cordon Bleu in San Francisco before working in “well known establishments such as Wayfare Tavern, Zuni, 916 Valencia, and the Sir Francis Drake Hotel,” according to their official website. While Devin Keopraphay started working in the food industry by “washing woks in his fathers restaurant in DC,” before earning “a degree from The Art Institute of Washington D.C” and working at places such as Morimoto, “Vetri, Graffiato, Kumamoto and Uchiko.”

It doesn’t seem like there is a planned brick-and-mortar location for Tiger & Wife yet, though the Keopraphay’s did say that they are open to seeing where the market takes them, and that they hope to open a brick-and-mortar in 2022. It’s okay, we can keep eating their fried chicken sandwiches and donuts as we wait.
