After a five-year hiatus, Cheba Hut is making a triumphant return to the heart of Boulder, Colorado. Located at 1346 Pearl St., STE 120, the new restaurant will open its doors soon — big news for the brand, which used to have a location in the popular college neighborhood The Hill.

Fans of the cannabis-themed sandwich shop and bar, celebrated for its “toasted” subs and laid-back vibe, have been asking for a return to the city, a press release states. The centerpiece of the new space will be a Buff-themed mural crafted by artist Joshua Finley.

Visitors can look forward to a vibrant outdoor patio, a full-service bar offering local craft brews and signature cocktails, and over 30 of the brand’s renowned “toasted” subs. The menu will also feature crowd favorites like fluffy pretzel nugs and gooey Krisp

David Timmons and Kyle Archer with Elevated Inc., are overseeing the operations of this store. The group is Cheba Hut’s largest franchisee, growing to more than 20 locations across Colorado and Nevada over the last decade and a half.

Founded in 1998 in Tempe, Arizona, Cheba Hut has expanded to 65+ locations across 15 states. It has celebrated major success lately; in 2023, company-wide sales increased by 29%.
