Florentin Rooftop Bar is scheduled to open this April on the eighth floor of 612 S. Broadway, according to co-owner Brandon Robinson.
With a discreet entrance off Broadway in the heart of DTLA, the new concept will be giving upscale speakeasy vibes. Once upstairs, guests will be transported to a sleek, Mediterranean-inspired cocktail lounge with spectacular views of the city.
A statement from Robinson said Florentin will feature “high-quality craft cocktails” and “unpretentious artisanal pizza,” plus “a vibrant nightlife experience with DJs and dancing.”
In a past life, Robinson worked as a mixologist at Wolf & Crane, a late-night watering hole in downtown. More recently, he has been working as a producer with clients ranging from M&Ms to Netflix.
Robinson co-owns the space with Brendan Lynch, who also has a background in film production and bartending.
