Fogo De Chao is coming to the former Del Frisco’s Grille location in Santa Monica later this year, per the company’s website

This new outpost is part of the brand’s global expansion initiative, with more than 20 new locations expected to open over the next two years.

Fogo De Chao serves churrasco-style meats like picanha, chicken, lamb, pork; classic Brazilian side dishes like pao de queijo, feijoada, farofa; desserts like brigadeiro, tres leches, creme brulee; and drinks like caipirinha, cucumber mint smash, and samba squeeze martini. It also has buffet and a la carte offerings.

The restaurant was first opened in 1979 in Porto Alegre, Brazil by brothers Arri and Jair Coser. It made its U.S. debut in 1997 in Dallas, Texas. Today, the company-owned chain has more than 60 locations worldwide.
