Cook Out is undergoing expansion in the Greater Charlotte area. It has three new locations on the way, according to spots labeled as “coming soon” on its website. New locations are being developed at 1025 Frank Bailey Dr. in Charlotte, 10525 Mallard Creek Rd in Charlotte and 5161 Z-Max Blvd in Harrisburg.
Cook Out has been expanding rapidly in the area, with plans to open three new locations in Greensboro, Randleman and Charlotte reported earlier this year. Permits have also shown expansion plans to another location in Charlotte and one in Clemmons.
The Thomasville-based chain, which has been around since 1989 under the ownership of Morris Reaves and son Jeremy Reaves, has been focusing much of its latest expansion on its home state. Other hubs of development right now include Raleigh and Fayetteville, according to the company’s website.
The company now boasts more than 350 locations in 10 states across the South. The fast-casual spot is known for its classic American food, including homemade char-grilled burgers, hot dogs, chicken and milkshakes.
As of now, it is unclear what the precise opening timelines are for the new lineup of locations. However, the website advertises them as “coming soon.”
