Clutch Coffee Bar is heading to Indian Trail, with a location at 13865 E Independence Blvd set to open by the end of the year, according to its website.

This location will mark the eighth for the brand in North Carolina and the fifteenth location across both North and South Carolina. The brand has been expanding in the Triad and Charlotte markets, with a recent opening in Winston-Salem. As previously reported by What Now Charlotte, that location opened along South Stratford Road in Winston-Salem earlier this month.

Darren Spicer, John Anderson and Jake Vandermeer started Clutch Coffee Bar in Mooresville in 2018 with the goal of creating a high-quality drive-thru coffee experience for customers, according to the Clutch Coffee Bar website. They serve handcrafted coffee beverages, energy drinks and specialty beverages, with signature items like the Aloha latte (which has a chocolate macadamia infusion), the Muscle Mocha (a chocolate protein shake infused with two shots of espresso) and the Avalanche latte (white chocolate combined with vanilla).

“With 20+ years of drive-thru coffee experience, combined with a burning desire to revitalize the lost art of customer service, we set out on a quest to build the best drive-thru beverage experience on the planet,” the Clutch Coffee Bar website states.

The brand also donates to causes through Clutch Cares, an effort to support and make an impact in local communities.
