Cinco De Mayo Authentic Mexican Restaurant is preparing to open a new location in Mandarin Station at 11101 Old Saint Augustine Road, Site 3-5.

The restaurant, owned and operated by Rodolfo and Maria Torres-Leon, is expected to open near the Old St. Augustine Plaza in the former home of Girlz & Co., King Nails, and Great Clips, according to public records. Cinco De Mayo currently has five other locations throughout northeast Florida, recently opening new sites on Atlantic Boulevard and in Palm Coast. If approved, the restaurant will provide authentic Mexican cuisine to visitors to the shopping center. This site will also feature classic cocktails.

This isn’t the only new restaurant the Torres-Leon family is working on. The couple is also working on a new concept called Don Eduardo Cocina Mexicana in Riverside, replacing One Bar & Lounge sometime in Fall 2023. Whether at the new Cinco De Mayo restaurant or the upcoming Don Eduardo Cocina Mexicana, customers can expect high-quality ingredients in every dish and a welcoming environment that will make them want to stay for a drink.

“Our passion is to bring the love of family, friends, and good times to your dining experience through the recipes and traditions brought with our family from Jalisco, Mexico,” according to the company’s website. “Perfected over time, it is our pleasure to provide authentic meals, lovingly created, using the freshest produce and ingredients for your dining pleasure.”
