Jersey Mike’s, the nationally ubiquitous sub shop, is working on a new spot at 414 Beach Village Drive in Flagler Beach, according to recent public records.
“It’ll be our 22nd store,” franchisee Danny Rosales proudly tells What Now Jacksonville.
“I’m local,” he says, referring to his residence in Flagler Beach. “I live near the store.”
Founded in 1956 and boasting 2310 locations, the national brand is notable for its range of sandwich options, such as hot subs that can be topped with steak, chicken, and grilled mushrooms and cold subs that can be topped with turkey, ham, prosciutto, and a variety of cheeses. Jersey Mike’s also features the enormous Giant Sub which can feed up to four people.
While no exact opening date has been set for this latest Jersey Mike’s spot, Mr. Rosales tells What Now Jax that they are expecting to be up and running by late March.
