According to recent reporting, BagelsRUs plans to double its Northeast Florida imprint in 2025.

A recent social media post states that the bagel chain plans to add stores in Yulee (464073 State Road 200), Beachwalk in St. Johns (145 Beachwalk Shore Drive) and downtown Jacksonville (440 W. Adams St.) all by October/November of 2025.

Founded by Charles Leak in 1998 and purchased by Hyon “Bruce” Kim in 1999, BagelsRUs remains locally owned and operated today by entrepreneur Abhi Somaiya.

“BagelsRUs has been locally owned and operated since 1998, bringing you the freshest and most delicious bagels around. Our bagels are kettle boiled and scratch baked daily, ensuring the highest quality each and every time,” the official website states.

“Not only do we offer traditional bagels and cream cheese, but we also have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items all made in house daily. Stop by and taste the difference for yourself.”
