The team behind a popular Quincy tavern is set to open another restaurant and bar.

Evan Harrington, Nick Palermo, and Michael Johnson of Quincy’s Liberty Tavern—known for its wood-fired pizzas and craft cocktails—are preparing to launch Uno Mas Taco & Tequila Bar at 35 Commercial St in Braintree.

The Liberty Tavern recently shared the update on Instagram, stating, “In case you missed the news…. We’re getting a little sister!!” They accompanied the post with a playful photo of an Uno Mas onesie and an ‘ultrasound’ showcasing a taco and a margarita.

The culinary trio has been busy. Just a couple of weeks ago, What Now Boston reported that they would be collaborating with local restaurateurs Will Falaro and Andrew Moccia to open Drifters Kitchen and Bar in Quincy.

Although the Uno Mas menu has not yet been released, patrons can look forward to a range of Mexican-inspired dishes in addition to the namesake tacos and tequila.

Uno Mas is slated to open before the end of November 2024 and is currently hiring for all front-of-house positions. Interested applicants should send their resumes to nicole@unomasbraintree.com to schedule an interview.
