A new market kitchen is set to open in Roslindale.

According to Boston Restaurant Talk, Roslindale Market Kitchen will soon occupy 4198 Washington St, formerly home to Dragon Chef.

The business’ website highlights its mission to connect “the kitchens in our community with the agriculture of our region.” The eatery plans to offer “healthy snacks and simple take-out geared to eating at home.”

Additionally, Roslindale Market Kitchen will serve as an outlet for Pure Pastry’s multigrain creations, host winter CSA box drops, and provide cooking classes tailored to family households.

Roslindale Organic Arts, the LLC behind the project, lists local restaurateur Odessa Piper as its manager, and Piper’s husband confirmed her involvement with What Now Boston.

The team noted that the permitting process is still “somewhat constrained” and said that they’re not ready to provide additional details just yet. Stay tuned for updates as the vision for this community-centered kitchen continues to take shape.
