A new spot for collectors and treasure hunters is coming to Lawrence.

Little Giant Antiques is preparing to open on the third floor of 15 Union Street, inside the historic Everett Mills. Husband-and-wife duo Jason and Celeste Brodnick, who also operate Little Giant Comics & Collectibles in the building, are expanding their business with a multi-dealer mall featuring an eclectic mix of antiques, collectibles, and vintage finds.

Spanning more than 15,000 square feet, the new shop will offer a little something for just about every kind of collector, with an inventory spanning fine art, antiques, military relics, historical artifacts and documents, vintage Disney, rare toys, Pokémon and other trading cards, records, vintage clothing, sports cards and memorabilia, and, of course, comic books. “If you collect it, we will probably have something for you,” Jason told What Now Boston.

The shop’s website highlights five main collecting categories: vintage toys, comic books, Pokémon, sports cards and memorabilia, and antiques. Toy enthusiasts can browse everything from pre-war tin lithograph toys and cast-iron banks to vintage action figures, while comic book collectors will find selections spanning the medium’s history, from Golden Age rarities and Silver Age key issues to Bronze Age runs and modern variants. The store plans to carry both ungraded books and professionally graded CGC copies, with an emphasis on key issues, first appearances, and high-grade editions.

Meanwhile, the Pokémon and trading card selection will include graded cards, raw singles, sealed products, and vintage lots. Sports collectors can look forward to rookie cards, vintage packs, autographs, game-used memorabilia, and signed collectibles across baseball, football, basketball, and hockey. Those with an eye for antiques will find carefully selected furniture, decorative arts, vintage advertising, glassware, pottery, clocks, and other one-of-a-kind pieces.

Beyond browsing and buying, Little Giant Antiques will also make it easier for collectors to have their prized finds professionally authenticated and graded. The business plans to serve as an authorized submission hub for five major grading companies: PSA, CGC, Beckett, NGC, and PMG. Customers can bring in their cards, comics, coins, and paper currency, and the Brodnicks will help determine the appropriate grading service and handle the submission process. The shop also plans to offer free evaluations and cost analyses to help collectors decide whether grading their items makes financial sense.

There will be plenty of opportunities to meet fellow enthusiasts, too. The Brodnicks plan to welcome special guests every weekend, including comic book artists, writers, inkers, sports stars, and other local talent.

The new space will feature brand-new central heating and air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable shopping experience year-round. And with the 40,000-square-foot Canal Street Antique Mall right next door, visitors will have no shortage of antiques and collectibles to explore.

Little Giant Antiques is targeting a January 1, 2027 opening. In the meantime, collectors can visit the Brodnicks’ existing Little Giant Comics & Collectibles location on the third floor of Everett Mills. Those interested in selling their own collections can reach Jason at [email protected].
