A local chicken chain is spreading its wings with a new location.

Flip the Bird will soon open its sixth outlet, according to a post in the Friends of Boston’s Hidden Restaurants Facebook group.

Although the post didn’t mention an exact address, a business entity search identified 127 Waverly Rd in North Andover as the upcoming location, a detail that co-founder Victoria Farnsworth later confirmed with What Now Boston.

Farnsworth and Anthony Marino launched the original Flip the Bird in Beverly, and the chain has since grown to include five locations in Beverly, Danvers, Swampscott, and Woburn.

Known for its high-quality, made-to-order fried chicken sandwiches—such as the Nashville Hot and The Early Bird—Flip the Bird also serves buttermilk biscuits, ribs, tenders, and a range of sides.

Farnsworth mentioned that the North Andover location is scheduled to debut in the spring of 2025.
