The retail center on the southern side of East Memoral Boulevard between Lakeshore Drive and North Ingraham Avenue in Lakeland will soon be home to a new restaurant offering favorites from Caribbean cuisine. Eagle Caribbean Cuisine will launch there, at 943 E Memorial Boulevard, according to submitted plan review paperwork.

What Now confirmed news opening with owner Heribert Metinor on Wednesday.

“We’re putting everything together,” Metinor said, declining to comment yet on the details of the menu.

Details are still scarce on the space, too, but Metinor says it can be expected to seat about 25 guests.

With its selections from Caribbean cuisine, Eagle Caribbean will join a food and drink community that includes restaurants like Hibachi Buffet, Checkers, Subway, and Uncle Apps.

Stay tuned for more details on Eagle Caribbean Restaurant as they become available.
