Silver Diner has four new upcoming locations in Maryland and Virginia that will feature its prominent American dining experience.

The restaurant, which has been running for over 3 decades and currently has 8 locations, will be opening a new spot in August at National Harbor in Maryland and another in the fall in Chantilly, Virginia, according to Vicki Bendure, the diner’s spokesperson.

Bendure told What Now DC that another Silver Diner spot will open in White Marsh, Maryland in either the spring or summer of 2024. A new location will also open in Fredericksburg, Virginia, in the fall of the same year.

Co-founders Bob Giaimo and Ype Von Hengst opened the first Silver Diner location in Rockville in 1989. The restaurant offers catering and serves breakfast, brunch, cocktails, burgers, and sandwiches, among other food items on its menu.
