Connecticut-based Mecha Noodle Bar is slated to open its first DC location at Union Market in early 2024.
The restaurant, which specializes in serving pho and ramen, will be located at 387 Morse Street NE, according to Eat DC, an online account on X, formerly Twitter, that posts food news and reviews.
Mecha Noodle Bar has grown across the Northeast with five locations in Connecticut and two locations in Boston over the past few years.
In addition to its new DC location, the ramen restaurant will also set shop in Colombus, Ohio, and Denver, Colorado, according to its website.
Mecha Noodle Bar’s menu features a variety of ramen dishes such as spicy miso and Shoyu Paitan. Its pho dishes come with chicken and beef options as well as optional add-ons that include tofu, shrimp, and greens.
