DC area pups and their human companions will soon have a new place to gather. A new Bark Social location will be opening near Merriweather Post Pavilion in 2024, reports local media outlet The List: Are You On It?

The precise address of the latest location of the dog-friendly, indoor-outdoor establishment has not yet been determined. However, Bark Social has established that the space will include 25,000 square feet of both interior and exterior space for pups and their best friends to romp around.

Bark Social will be occupying prime real estate next to Merriweather Post Pavilion. The space will allow canine friends to frolic both on and off leash, while their human companions converse or visit the cafe or bar located on site.

Bark Social currently has three locations spread across the East Coast. The fusion dog park and cafe has homes in Bethesda, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Bark Social has rigorous rules in place to ensure that every pup and their human can safely enjoy their time in the park.

Thirsty dog owners hoping for refreshment can look forward to enjoying a wide range of brews on tap. Customers who chose caffeine over alcohol have an impressive selection of coffee drinks, ranging from lattes to espresso to cappuccinos to choose from. Bark Social offers a broad food menu for peckish humans, featuring appetizers, pizzas, and sandwiches. Hungry pups need not fear; the establishment has snack options for canine friends as well.
