Herndon residents can mark their calendars for the regional debut of a popular bakery chain. Local franchisee Jessica Papa confirms that Cinnaholic will be opening in the Village Center at Dulles in early February.

Once the shop opens at 2451 Centreville Road, Suite 20, customers can look forward to customizing their own gourmet, vegan cinnamon rolls. Cinnaholics garnered national attention after appearing on Shark Tank.

Papa spoke to What Now DC previously about her desire to bring greater nutritional options to the Herndon region, stating ““I think that our food system needs some major changes ASAP. Cinnaholic has better ingredients as we stay away from eggs, dairy, and anything with cholesterol. We are 100% plant-based and everything is made from scratch and baked in house.”

Founded in Berkeley, California, in 2010, Cinnaholic has grown to include 73 bakeries across the United States and Canada. The Cinnaholic experience invites visitors to select an icing flavor and toppings, to create their ideal cinnamon roll. Frosting flavors range from standards like vanilla to more unusual options, including hazelnut and banana cream.

Herndon residents can look forward to sampling the chain’s fare at the grand opening on February 9.
