More affordable housing for seniors aged 55+ is preparing to break ground in Union City.

Crossing Pointe will bring 80 one-bedroom apartments in a four-story building with a wide range of amenities to the Christian City campus.

This addition will bring the total units National Church Residences has on the Christian City campus to 371, adding to the four existing communities the organization currently operates on the campus.

National Church Residences is the largest non-profit provider of senior housing in the country, with a total of more than 350 communities across the U.S. The organization has owned and operated senior housing communities in the metro Atlanta area for more than 20 years, a portfolio that currently includes 15 communities with nearly 2,000 apartment homes across the area.

Earlier this year, the organization added to their Atlanta portfolio with the acquisition of Parish Grove in Buckhead, formerly The Cathedral Towers, from The Cathedral of St. Philip.
