Sources indicate restaurant will relocate making way for new mixed-use development.

UPDATE (Nov. 25, 2014): Buckhead Bottle Bar Moving To Midtown, Changing Name to ‘Time’

The Loudermilk Cos has published initial plans on its website for a new “office with retail” mixed-use development on land currently occupied by Bottle Bar & Bistro, the Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) first reported.

The project, 3111 Peachtree Atlanta, would most likely absorb the space where the restaurant sits, at 268 E. Paces Ferry Rd.

Bottle Bar is reportedly making preparation for the new development with plans to relocate to Midtown.

According to the ABC’s report, the Buckhead restaurant filed for an alcohol permit at 793 Juniper St., formerly home to Ludacris’ Straits restaurant that’s been sitting dark since 2012.

Bottle Bar first opened as “Buckhead Bottle Bar” under the direction of restaurateur A.D. Allushi alongside Atlanta Hawks’ Zaza Pachuli in 2010.

Bottle Bar was not immediately available for comment.

  • I’ve never been to Bottle Bar, so I can’t speak first-hand as to the concept. But isn’t it a club? As in late night, thump-thump kind of club? If so, no, I do not think it will fly at that location. Juniper and 5th is a quiet neighborhood kind-0f-area. It’s not like Peachtree or Crescent that currently supports other clubs.
