Grindhouse Killer Burgers is moving forward in Brookhaven.

Owner Alex Brounstein is looking to open the new restaurant by around April 1, 2020.

The burger chain will be part of Kim King Associates’ Dresden Pointe development, at 2565 Apple Valley Road, per plans first announced late-2018.

“The building is still in development but the landlord is letting us get in there to get started,” Brounstein Thursday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview, narrowing down previous opening projections of “late-2019” and most recently, “early-2020.”

The Brookhaven outpost will be the seventh location for Grindhouse Killer Burgers in the Atlanta area and in Athens (eighth if you count the two franchised stalls at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.)

From a design perspective, the new restaurant will take after the chain’s two-story downtown Decatur location, also ground-up construction.

A walk-up order counter and dining room seating will be on the ground level with a full bar and pet-friendly patio seating.

The rooftop patio will be reserved for diners 21 and older.

Brounstein says the menu offerings will remain the same and adds this new outpost will be the last one for the chain for the time being.
