Savi Provisions could be opening a new Buckhead outpost, according to a permit recently filed with the City of Atlanta. Savi’s Founder Paul Nair confirmed the filing which he said was in early stages and tentative.

The new Buckhead location would be the 10th Savi Provisions in the Atlanta area and would open at 3861 Roswell Road where Mo Mo Ya used to be housed. The Japenese restaurant has permanently closed, Mo Mo Ya reps Monday confirmed with What Now Atlanta.

In what would be a Savi Provisions first, the permit also details that the 12,000-square-foot space will double as a gas station, with plans to install gas pumps.

Savi Provisions was founded in 2009 by Nair. There are currently seven Savi Provisions in the Atlanta area with two more officially in development in The Battery Atlanta and Buckhead Heights, coming this fall. The specialty grocery store sells gourmet organic food as well as beer and wine. Two locations, Brookhaven and Inman Park, also serve food.

Due to the tentative nature of these plans, Nair had no further information to share.
