The Tin Lizzy’s Cantina in Buckhead caught fire early Tuesday morning.

According to a report from the Atlanta Fire Rescue Department, firefighters were dispatched to the restaurant on Piedmont Road at 5:50 a.m.

“The first unit arrived at Tin Lizzy’s within five minutes to find heavy fire showing on the left side of the structure,” says the report. “Firefighters conducted an offensive (interior) fire attack to extinguish the flames.”

There were no occupants inside the restaurant, the fire department said.

The AJC released photos of the fire damage. The newspaper spoke with fire officials that said the fire appeared to have originated outside.
