A new interactive exhibit is in the works at the Georgia Aquarium, the largest aquarium in the U.S.

A building permit application was filed for Explorer’s Cove, a 9,400-square-foot, $4.3 million project at the aquarium.

According to an announcement about the new exhibit, Explorer’s Cove will feature two expansive touch pools where guests can interact with sharks, rays, guitarfish and sturgeon.

The exhibit will also incorporate technology, allowing visitors to draw a digital animal and watch as it swims on a giant video wall.

Explorer’s Cove is one of two new experiences expected to debut at the aquarium this summer, the other being an immersive experience called Destination: Dolphin featuring a 1,800-person theater.

The Georgia Aquarium is located in Downtown Atlanta at 225 Baker St NW.
