A beachy food spot in Alpharetta appears to be working on another location, this one right in Atlanta along the BeltLine.

Chiringa is proposed for 678 Edgewood Avenue, according to a liquor license application with the City of Atlanta. It appears that the restaurant will be one of the retail tenants at the Old Fourth Ward Citizen apartment building, a 114-unit residential complex with commercial space along the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail.

With the motto “Eat well, fly high,” Chiringa highlights the “the bright and bold tastes of summer.” The menu includes sandwiches and burgers, gluten-free chicken tenders and shrimp, tacos and more alongside a full beverage menu with beer, wine, specialty cocktails, freshly squeezed juice and more.

According to the application, the Atlanta restaurant will be open 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. There will be seating for 127.

Until the Atlanta restaurant opens, Chiringa can be found in Alpharetta at 34 S Main Street. The concept also has a sister restaurant in Grayton Beach, Florida, called Chiringo.
