Another fast-casual breakfast option is headed to Kennesaw, with a new Einstein Bros. Bagels in the works.

The bagel shop is planned for 1155 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, according to construction documents. The space is 1,688 square feet and located in Barrett Corners, a one-story shopping center that was built in 1995. The documents indicate that this is expected to be a corporate-owned store.

ID Studio 4, a Texas-based architecture and engineering firm specializing in restaurant and retail design, is the architecture team behind the new store, according to the documents.

Einstein Bros. Bagels was created in 1995 by Boston Market. In addition to a variety of bagels and cream cheese, the menu includes breakfast and lunch sandwiches, coffee beverages and pastries. There are almost 700 locations of Einstein Bros. Bagels across the U.S. According to a site map, about 20 of those locations are in metro Atlanta.

Construction bids on the new Kennesaw store are due April 29, 2024.
