City Barbeque is now open near the Mall of Georgia.

The restaurant at 2828 Buford Drive is the seventh location of the concept in metro Atlanta.

The location will feature City Barbeque’s signature menu items, including Texas-style brisket, St. Louis cut ribs and Carolina goldmine sandwiches, along with house-made sides like corn pudding, macaroni and cheese and banana pudding. It will also feature a drive-thru.

“The Atlanta market has warmly embraced our approach to BBQ, making it a fantastic region for our continued growth,” City Barbeque Chief Brand Officer Annica Conrad said. “Our new location at Mall of Georgia is perfectly positioned to meet the high demand from our loyal customers.”

Edie Weintraub from terra alma has helped the barbeque brand’s expansion to Buford, along with locations in Woodstock, Snellville and McDonough, handling site selection and working with Bob Kane from the company’s development team.

“It’s incredibly fulfilling to celebrate not only the openings but also the thriving success of the new locations in Georgia!” Weintraub said in a news release.

A location is also expected for Acworth this October.
