A barbecue chain is eyeing more growth in Georgia.

Jim ‘N Nick’s Community BBQ is proposing to open a location in Tucker, and they’re seeking to have a double drive-thru at the restaurant, decaturish.com reports.

The request was presented at a Tucker City Council meeting on May 13, according to the news outlet.

The Jim ‘N Nick’s menu includes barbecue meats like pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, smoked turkey breast and more, as well as sandwiches, ribs, chicken tenders, burgers and sides.

There are currently 18 Jim ‘N Nick’s locations in Georgia. One is also in the works at The Avenue West Cobb, expected to be open by the end of this year or early 2025.

Jim ‘N Nick’s was founded in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1985. Atlanta‐based private equity firm Roark Capital Group acquired the brand in 2017.

In addition to Georgia, the barbecue restaurant can be found in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee.
