According to a recently submitted permit application, Olive Garden is expanding its San Antonio footprint, gearing up to debut a new outpost this fall.

Coming to 17974 I-35 N in Schertz, the eatery will land near Chilli’s Grill & Bar, The Magnolia Pancake Haus, and Taco Palenque Schertz.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the chain, according to Olive Garden’s website, the brand boasts a family-friendly environment where “Italian generosity is always on the table.”

“At Olive Garden, we know that life is better together and everyone is happiest when they’re with family. From never-ending servings of our freshly baked breadsticks and iconic garden salad to our homemade soups and sauces, there’s something for everyone to enjoy,” the website states.

Olive Garden is a division of Darden Restaurants, Inc. and operates more than 800 locations across the U.S.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Darden to inquire about the expansion, but they could not provide additional information before publication.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
