A lot is happening in New York-New York’s food hall this summer, as Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group brings the food hall into a second phase. It’s growing considerably, as Robb Bonanno of Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group told What Now this week, beginning to “encompass the whole upper level.”

What Now reached out after finding licensing paperwork submitted for one of the concepts: New York Cookie Bar, a classic cookie shop that will be serving fresh-baked cookies.

“But we’ve got more than just New York Cookie Bar!” Bonanno said.

And quickly we were hearing about several exciting new concepts planned for the resort, all expected to open this August.

There’s also the Last Custard Stand, for example.

“That will be all high-end custard and concrete offerings, with all the mix-ins and a lot of customization,” Bonanno said. “We’re making our own custard right there on the property.”

Then there’s The Nut House, another new concept featuring roasted nuts. And all that is on top of the reopening of New York-New York’s Nathan’s Famous location and the transformation of New York Pretzel into an Auntie Anne’s.

All of that is coming late this summer to New York-New York Las Vegas.
