Also the title of a new movie in theaters, The Last Rodeo is seeking space in the Westmoreland neighborhood.
A liquor license application under the business’s name was recently submitted for 6637 SE Milwaukie Avenue. This is to be a full-service restaurant. Also in the application name is Matt’s BBQ Tacos, which has two locations at 2204 NE Alberta Street and 2216 SE 50th Avenue.
It is not confirmed if the two restaurants are working together to create this space. The menu of Matt’s BBQ Tacos has items like breakfast tacos, migas tacos with scrambled egg, tortilla chips and pico de gallo, tacos with chopped brisket, pulled pork or jalapeno cheddar sausage, and a signature corn tortilla with queso and brisket. These items have not been confirmed to be on the menu of the new location.
The building the business would be going in has two floors, with Art of Injectables medical spa on the first floor. There is also Fairlane Coffee next door. The Westmoreland neighborhood also has restaurants spread throughout SE Milwaukie Avenue like Saburo’s Sushi House Restaurant and Philadelphia’s Steaks & Hoagies.
The listed applicant is Meat and Three LLC. Meat and three is a Southern food-style of having meat served with two sides like potatoes or mac and cheese.
