Cerritos residents are getting ready to welcome a new Japanese barbecue concept, OC Register reports. Chubby Cattle BBQ is expected to open its fifth SoCal location this summer at 11203 183rd St., the latest step in expansion for the growing brand.

An all-you-can-eat Japanese-style barbecue chain, it offers an interactive tabletop grilling experience, with premium cuts of American, Australian, and Japanese A5 Wagyu beef. The Cerritos location will offer a three-tier all-you-can-eat menu and additional options such as sushi, seafood, Japanese desserts, milk tea, and soft-serve ice cream.

This Cerritos opening follows successful Southern California locations in Rowland Heights, Little Tokyo, Monterey Park, and Rosemead. The company is also opening a Chubby Cattle in Irvine, which What Now OC announced last fall.

Chubby Cattle began in Las Vegas in 2014 and now has 30 restaurants nationwide between the barbecue segment, Chubby Cattle Shabu, and Chubby Cattle Hotpot. Its parent company Chubby Group’s diverse portfolio of dining concepts includes Chubby Nori, Chubby Curry, Chubby Don, Chubby Dumplings, Chubby Skewers, Chubby Tan, Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House, Chubby Bowls, NIKU X, The X Pot, Wagyu House, and Yumiyaki.
