Haruka Sake & Sushi is preparing to open a new restaurant at 1925 W Malvern Ave, Fullerton. In a social media announcement, the restaurant is completing work on the new location and plans to share additional opening updates. The Instagram post identifies the Fullerton restaurant as the company’s newest location.
Haruka Sake & Sushi serves Japanese cuisine with a menu centered on sushi, sashimi, specialty rolls, omakase, and sake. The concept also offers a selection of hot entrees, appetizers, and traditional Japanese dishes, currently operating a restaurant in Pasadena.
Sean Lee, owner of Haruka Sake & Sushi, told What Now he is excited about the debut in Fullerton. “We are proud to be able to bring an exceptional dining experience, with premium ingredients, to Fullerton,” Lee said.
According to the company’s website, guests can expect nigiri, hand rolls, premium sashimi, bento selections, noodles, and a variety of cooked dishes, along with sake, beer, and other beverages.
Its diverse selection of specialty rolls combines traditional Japanese flavors with creative ingredients. Options such as the Garlic Albacore Roll, made with albacore, spicy tuna, cucumber, crispy onion, garlic, and garlic ponzu sauce, are as popular as the Geisha Roll, combining tuna, salmon, cucumber, kaiware, and gobo wrapped in seaweed.
The restaurant also offers omakase service for guests seeking a chef-selected dining experience.
