Harpoon Henry’s, known for its waterfront dining and seafood menu, was recently cited for a pest infestation following a health inspection. Inspectors from the OC Health Care Agency found live cockroaches and rodent droppings in the facility.
A live cockroach was found under the upstairs dishwasher. Inspectors also reported fresh rodent droppings in multiple areas. Rodent droppings were found upstairs behind the fridge and under the dishwasher, as well as downstairs beneath another dishwasher and a soap bucket near the back office.
Inspectors also noted that open bar doors could allow pests to enter the facility. A detailed health report of this reinspection is available online.
Follow-Up Inspection
Restaurant management is required to eliminate all signs of rodent and cockroach activity. The facility must also be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized, and measures must be taken to prevent the entry of pests. Once the corrections are confirmed during the reinspection on July 8, 2025, the restaurant can resume operations.
