San Diego-based Mr. Moto Pizza featuring New York City-style gourmet pizza has opened its second Irvine location, taking over the former Brooklyn’s Finest Pizza space in Oak Creek Shopping Center at 5613 Alton Parkway. This marks the fourth Orange County store overall, joining Costa Mesa, Irvine (The Square), and The Village at Orange.

All four Orange County openings have occurred in the last 11 months. The Square opened in October 2025, Village at Orange opened in December 2025, and Costa Mesa opened this past February.

Mr. Moto’s pizza dough is crafted over 48 hours to create a fluffy, airy border with a crispy bottom. The pizzeria offers a series of red pies (i.e. The Hulk with pepperoni, bacon, ham, sausage) and white pies (i.e. Smoky Greens with spinach, ricotta, garlic, sweet balsamic glaze). Guests can build their own pies as well, and slices are always available.

Mr. Moto Pizza is owned by Gibran Fernandez, who is Mr. Moto.

“Orange County has welcomed us with open arms, and Irvine has truly become a second home to us,” Fernandez said in a statement. “We are proud to serve our neighbors with a unique combination of flavors and outstanding quality, along with our famous stuffed knots.”

Mr. Moto was founded in 2015 in San Diego with its first storefront in Pacific Beach. There are now seven San Diego locations after the University Towne Center (UTC) location celebrated its grand opening.

The Mr. Moto menu features a Family Special that includes one large specialty pizza, one salad (choice of House or Caesar), one pasta, and four garlic knots for $49.99. Mr. Moto also has a Pizza of the Month, and for September/October it’s The Extraordinary Chicklet with chicken sausage, jalapenos, crispy onion, and buffalo ricotta.

Other menu items include chicken wings, calzones, stromboli, and a small selection of desserts.

Mr. Moto Pizza Oak Creek is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
