New York favorite The Halal Guys is setting its sights on Newton, reports Boston Restaurant Talk.
According to permits filed with the city, Jamal Bourote of BGR Hospitality and longtime franchisee Imran Asghar are teaming up to open a new outpost at 55 Needham St.
And the pair isn’t new to the local fast-casual dining scene. Together, they’re developing 10 Dave’s Hot Chicken locations across the region, and they have at least one more Halal Guys location simmering in Downtown Boston. BGR Hospitality also operates several local Blaze Pizza branches.
