A. Marshall Hospitality, helmed by Andy Marshall, has a new concept on the way to Nashville. Cliff’s Lounge and Oyster Bar will open later this summer within fellow A. Marshall concept Deacon’s New South in downtown Nashville at 401 Church Street, according to the Deacon’s New South website.

Customers can expect an elevated raw bar featuring fresh rotating oysters sourced seasonally from a variety of regions, including the East, West and Gulf coasts. Other offerings include bar bites like tenderloin sliders, asparagus fries, shrimp ceviche and house-made meatball crostini.

There also will be a beverage program featuring rotating cocktails, whiskey flights, wine, beer and other house spirits.

“Named in honor of the Marshall family legacy, Cliff’s is inspired by a tradition of seeking out great oysters and even better conversation,” the website states. “Whether you’re grabbing a seat at the bar or stopping in for happy hour, Cliff’s invites you to unwind with chef-selected oysters sourced regionally based on seasonality, flavor and freshness. Pair your plate with a curated cocktail or spirit-free sip, and enjoy a laid-back yet elevated atmosphere that feels right at home in the heart of Music City.”

Franklin-based A. Marshall Hospitality is behind a family of brands across Tennessee and Alabama, including Puckett’s Restaurant, Deacon’s New South, Scout’s Pub. Puckett’s has eight locations across Tennessee and Alabama.

Cliff’s Lounge and Oyster Bar is expected to open in August.
