A vibrant new addition to Madison’s dining scene is almost ready to roll, as a Thai and sushi fast-casual restaurant prepares to open its second location.
Tuk Tuk Boom, owned by Will Puckett, first opened at 4500 I-55 N, Suite 153 in Jackson. The new 2,500-square-foot space will be located on Madison Avenue, between Harley Rae’s Boutique and Madison Market Place, according to the restaurant’s Instagram page.
The Madison location will feature a dining room, bar, outdoor seating and a drive-thru takeout window.
“High quality Thai favorites and fresh sushi rolls for life in the fast lane,” reads a tagline on the restaurant’s website.
The menu blends traditional Thai flavors with bold, modern twists. Starters include crispy Brussels sprouts with sweet chili sauce and tuna nachos layered with mango sauce, seaweed salad and spicy mayo. Classics such as chicken satay, pot stickers and coconut soup round out the appetizers, while lighter options like lettuce wraps and the Thai crunch salad bring freshness and texture.
Entrées range from rich curries to noodle dishes like pad Thai and spicy beef noodles. Tuk Tuk bowls offer balanced rice-based meals with a variety of proteins and vegetables. The sushi menu adds a fusion flair, from spicy tuna to the colorful, topping-heavy Boom Boom roll.
The restaurant also offers frozen and specialty cocktails, along with beer and wine. For the latest drink selections, Tuk Tuk recommends checking their social media.
While an opening date hasn’t been announced, a recent post says the team is “finishing up our to-dos” and is “so excited for our Madison fam to be able to swing by for their TTB fixes, their family catch ups and their gal pal hang sesh.”
