A new sports bar from the team behind Trifecta Hospitality Co. is set to open this fall in Warrington, PA.

Gloria’s Sport and Spirits will debut at 1500 Main Street, and co-owner Brad Daniels told What Now Philadelphia the spot will blend elements from the partners’ previous restaurant concepts.

“We sat down with our better halves, our wives and said if we were to look at other opportunities, what do you want to do? And, we collectively came up with the idea that we want to tie the two things together that we do best,” Daniels said.

Daniels brings a fine-dining background, having worked at restaurants such as Tresini in Ambler and Oyster Bay Steak and Seafood in Cape May. His partners, known for opening large, experiential sports bars, nightclubs and casual restaurants, joined forces to combine the best elements of both approaches in one concept.

“Gloria Sports and Spirits is the brainchild of the collective of our careers pushed together,” Daniels said. “What we’re shooting for is a sports bar reinvented. We want to be all inclusive. We want to be family-friendly and want it to be more lady-friendly in terms of a sports bar atmosphere.”

The name comes from the hit song “Gloria” by Laura Branigan. Often called Italy’s fight song, it ties to the bar’s Italian roots and will also serve as its anthem.

“It hit the nail right on the head when we learned it was their fight song because we were going for four things in the name,” Daniels said. “We wanted it to be feminine, nostalgic and sports related. Lastly, it’s Italian. Gloria in Italian means glory–the glory of winning. It was just all encompassing.”

Inside Gloria’s, the design will highlight iconic sports moments, creating the sense of nostalgia.

“We have a friend of ours who is doing a custom mural on a giant wall and we’re encompassing a lot of U.S. really outstanding sports moments as well as leaning into the Philadelphia theme,” he said.

The sports bar will also feature two golf simulators with private seating, allowing guests to rent them for their own golf outings.

The menu will blend Italian and American flavors, Daniels said, with a focus on pizza alongside salads, sandwiches and small plates meant to be eaten with a fork and knife.

“We built out a whole pizza oven and bar in the middle of the dining room,” he said. “We are focusing on the Italian convivial atmosphere of sharing food.”

Gloria’s will also feature an extensive cocktail program, offering creative drinks complementing its Italian-American menu.

“The cocktail menu is just really fun and whimsical. We’re having fun with the spirits, colors and textures and really creating a vibrant program,” Daniels said. “We have a tasty, neon orange cocktail. It is probably one of my favorites, it’s a mixture of tequila and mezcal and it presents itself really fruity and delicious without being overly sweet and too boozy.”

They also plan to serve a house-infused Madagascar vanilla vodka for espresso martinis with a hint of amaretto. Their take on the classic Negroni will have a “cool twist,” made dirty with a touch of caper brine and garnished with burnt orange and a caper berry. A limoncello martini will offer flavors reminiscent of key lime and lemon meringue pie, topped with a frothy lavender-infused foam.

They also plan to offer Prosecco, white wine and root beer on tap. The dessert menu will feature a “float” section with four unique ice cream floats made with different beverages. A selection of mocktails will be available, including a Gatorade-inspired drink with a coconut water base and naturally infused fruit flavors.

While Gloria’s Sport and Spirits has not announced an official opening date, the team is aiming for a mid-September launch—just in time for football season.
