Construction is now underway on Red Lotus Den, a huge food hall and nightlife destination planned for Downtown Westminster. The Chamber of Commerce announced that ground broke last month on the facility, which will be located at 5815 West 89th Avenue.

A 15,000–plus-square-foot venue, the project will occupy two floors. It will feature seven original restaurant concepts, a central bar, karaoke and party rooms, a conference space, and outdoor patio seating for roughly 50 guests. Inside will seat 675 patrons. It’s slated for a May or June opening.

Unlike traditional food halls, Red Lotus Den will provide full-service dining with table-side ordering at each of its seven restaurants, which will feature a range of cuisines, from sushi, donkatsu, and dim sum to pasta, pizza, and desserts. The exact details and menus of each business are still being ironed out.

Sherman Associates, the developer behind the Aspire and Ascent apartments, which will house the project, has partnered with multi-unit franchise owner Henry Lee. Lee owns locations of Bonchon and Salady and formerly operated The Alley, Developing Denver reports.

We’re not just creating a typical food hall—we’re crafting a dynamic social destination where exceptional food, service, and nightlife come together. Every detail, from the design to the guest experience, has been thoughtfully curated to exceed expectations,” Lee told What Now Denver.
