Chetak LLC Voluntarily Recalls Deep-Branded Frozen Fruits and Vegetables Across U.S.

Chetak LLC Group is expanding its product recall range, citing possible Salmonella contamination. An investigation into the source of the contamination is ongoing.

Chetak LLC Expands Product Recall

After several sprouted bean products tested positive for Salmonella contamination, Chetak LLC Group has expanded its product recall range. As a precaution, the company recalled frozen fruits and vegetables produced on the same equipment. The step is intended to protect consumers and prevent further contamination.

Salmonella is an organism that is known to cause serious and sometimes fatal infections. Children, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems are more vulnerable to serious illness. Meanwhile, healthy people can experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, and other health issues. In rare cases, the organism can also enter the bloodstream and cause arterial infections, arthritis, and endocarditis.

Although Salmonella has not been found in the additional products, the company issued a voluntary nationwide recall. No illnesses have been reported either, but consumers are advised to discard or return the products. Production has been suspended while Chetak investigates the source of the contamination.

Product Description

Chetak LLC Group has expanded the range of products being recalled. The recalled products were made on the same equipment used for bean sprouts. The bean sprout products tested positive for Salmonella contamination, resulting in the company taking this step.

The company is recalling frozen vegetable and fruit products that were manufactured between December 18, 2024, and August 19, 2025. The products are all Deep-branded frozen vegetables and fruits. The complete list of products and their lot numbers is as follows:
